Andrew is a musician and software developer. As a pianist, he plays all around the Houston area and has appeared with artists such as Kirk Whalum, Will Kennedy, Hubert Laws and Dee Dee Bridgewater. He has also been featured with the Houston Chamber Choir, Houston Masterworks Chorus, Candlelight Concerts and Lone Star Lyric. Around town he can be heard with Woody Witt’s electric band and Jelando Johnson’s Crusader’s Experience. He is also one of the pianists at Congregation Shma Koleinu. Additionally, he is an active session musician and a proud member of AFM Local 65-699.
When he’s not at the piano, he balances a busy career in software development. He has two Master’s degrees, one in Mathematics from the University of Houston and the other in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from UC Berkeley. He is also a graduate of the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, where he later taught jazz piano. Andrew lives with his wife Stephanie and their many pets in Houston, Texas.
